Yea, im looking to do a E6600 with a Crossfire setup. Any chipsets\mobo's able to do this yet or no?

the Intel B975XBX supports crossfire, and is the most likely to be available board right now, just make sure you get rev 304. Other 975 based motherboards will support Crossfire, just be careful to get hte right version (see the sticky post at top of this forum for details)

ATI also has a chipset that wil lsupport Conroe and obviously Crossfire, but no boards based on this chipset are out yet.

The RD600 will support 3 16x, 1333 native FSB, and 1066 DDR2.

I personally am REALLY excited for a R600 +RD600 +Conroe system.

the RD600 will the best chipset ATI ever made yet + the R600 will own Nvidia for a long time as its the fastest GPU ever made, i get 30K in 3dMark06 with the 1GB version + crossfire R600 would so own but alas the R600 has not been qaulified for crossfire yet, should be done in about 2 weeks though

You got any proof to back this up, or do I need to bookmark this post for when the G80/R600 is released and slap you with it?

Terra...

RS600 with built in graghics and the RD600 without . I will wait till the SB650 is used with the RD600.

Yeah, cmon now. The r600 isn't even taped out. Is this fuad Abazovic or something? Don't make !!!!!!tastic claims on soemthing not even out, yet alone the existence of NDA engineering samples.

The g80 is just an intriguing.

Reguardless if you work for ATI or not that is about the dumbest claim you can make. You of all people should know not to make comments like that when you probably have the least idea of what to expect from the G80 lineup. I'll go with Terra and "believe it when I see it." BTW that is in reference to the "R600 owning Nvidia for a long time and being the fastest GPU ever made" comment.

well i mean ever made as in that is out now, obviously they will make faster ones later on too
i mean if dont take what i say with a grain of salt and take it literally word for word im sorry
things do change from first design to the end product

You got any first hand knowlegde about the G80's preformance?

Terra - If not, you know what your earlier statement was then, rigth?

So your statement was(as I suspected) pure guess work?

Terra - At best...that is...(benefit of the dobut)...

It's called intellectual laziness, and why people debate with fallacious foundations, emotive terms, and histrionics.

I don't mean to sound like a snob, but only syaing it in good faith. I know this is just a forum, but clearly speaking your point of view and backing it with conrete details will go a long way. This especially holds when talking about religion, politics, or, of course, tech. ;)

by the way you dug yourself into a hole and by the way you dug yourself in deeper, its safe to say you have absolutely no career in ATI's PR division.

Than you should have called out on this statement.

As the RD600 has been fully valadated

Come on guys as I said this is a battle for another time. The R600 has taped out.

There can be no winners in this fight.

I don't like first revisions of any one's chipsets. I do trust Fugger and FCG because I've gotten similar results at stock, before they start overclocking.

I'm willing to give the ATI motherboard a shot and I hope my bud sells me his MSI X1800XL. If not, I'll stick with my X800XL and find a X850 CF Master card. But if I get to buy the X1800XL that's really a 512MB XT in reality, I'm not worried about CF right now.

I ordered my RAM yesterday. GSkill 4-4-4-12 DDR2 800 from Newegg $199 for 2GB. Clearly not the best but should get the Job done.
