Me again. this should be it for awhile. Just did Win 7 reinstall/reformat with system in sig.. Can't find anything of too much help on Google.
What do you typically do to get latest video card, sound card drivers direct from manufacturer's websites installed right after a reformat (after installing the latest chipset driver):
1) get the video and sound drivers and copy over the automatically installed windows drivers?
2) uninstall both the windows drivers from "add/remove programs"? Then add real drivers?
3) uninstall both the windows drivers from "add/remove programs" then run drivercleaner in safemode? Then add real drivers?
I am not really gonna bother removing anything before installing the chipset drivers from Asus, unless someone has a diff. idea.
Thanks for any input. This has always confused the hell out of me.
