Coolmax CTG-850 review

Typically, Cooler Master. Their 460W is a Hipro, the 600W is a SevenTeam and the 550W is an Acbel. Everything Coolmax puts out at this level are made by ATNG.

But these PSU's aren't made by ATNG and are made nothing like anything Coolmax has put out before. And Cooler Master doesn't have anything at this level. So you can't make a comparison.
 
Thanks for the info. I didn't realize that Coolermaster had a Seventeam unit, too bad it isn't 450W or something close to that.
 
It looks like that Coolmax unit is a monster in both rating and manners. Too bad it's not a bit more civilized. I had some good thoughts on modding 8-pin to 4-pin adaptors for running the CPU soley on the 12V2 rail.
 
How's your bandwidth holding up Jonny? I noticed you have 4 reviews linked on the [H] main page. :p
 
So it's an ACBel? Cooooool. If only all coolmax psu's could push out that type of output and had that type of voltage regulation. :(

Haha! Remind me to thank Rich for not spacing those out. ;)

The webalizer report for this weekend is going to be interesting, I'm sure.

Like when Corsair linked up the HX620W review. Hits shot up to 50K overnight and the server needed a reboot. :D
