I have a 8800gtx xfx and it idols at just over 60deg C and up to 83dec C on load.. as for my e6600 its 28idol to 35ish or maybe more on load.

Has anyone used the CoolIT Freezone and put a VGA waterblock on it for their card? and would this be reccomemnded?

I have no interest yet in cooling my CPU just the 8800gtx xfx.. I was thinking of a EK 8800gtx waterblock for it?

Any ideas welcome :)

Hmm good info :)

I'm after a full cover block, was looking at EK's design and read a few reviews on it. Just need something cold to run through it..

I have a silverstone sg01 evo case so their's not alot of room but with some internal mods and relocation of the drive bays as I don't use a cd drive there can be quite alot of room made.

Cheers

A double BIP radiator is probably the lowest profile rad that'll work with a GTX.

The EK block is great btw.

Ah ok, what would be recommended for a gtx? so I can see what I might or not be able to squeeze in

Unless you're cooling the CPU too, I just don't think watercooling your GTX is worth it...

They're fairly silent, and they don't gain any overclockability on water.

Yea thats true but just rather keep the 80deg C down.. now that I have a soundcard beside it and soon the case will become more cramped the temp goes up with the case on

Do you have room for a 160x160mm radiator? The Thermochill PA160 rad would cool it nicely with a 120mm fan on it (there's an adapter).

If you don't feel like paying so much for the rad...

A double radiator of any major manuf. (swiftech MCR or HWlabs BIP series) would be more then enough.

Awsome, I miiiiight be able to squeeze it haha, and by double you meen size? or double pass
