I am thinking of picking up this hybrid water/TEC CPU cooler for the system in my sig. According to numerous reviews this seems to be the pre-built kit to get. Question is, will it fit in my qpack? If not, can it be modded to fit easily? I remember reading about someone trying this in the past here on the [H] but they never said if they had any success.

Well, its too late and I already have it on the way. Should be here next week some time. I guess I'll find out the hard way whether I can get it to fit or not. Should be interesting. Might get the dremel out of storage... A truly impulsive buy, I wish I had patience to fully research it. I'll report back on my success or lack there of sometime next week.

looks like an interesting concept... I bet you can shove it in there. A review said the fan's footprint is 92mm with a 120mm adapter. And from a photograph it "looks" like the entire unit is smaller than the 120mm adapter; the next problem could be length of course. Goodluck! let us know what happens. I'd almost consider switching from my water setup

Thanks for the encouragement! I too am a little worried about the length and whether it will run into the back of my hard drives. If that is the problem, I guess I could always dremel off a little of the metal plate on the Freezone or else move the hard drives into my other drive bays. I can't wait till I can try it out.:p
