Hello [H]!
I purchased a Coolinx GFXChilla to replace the stock cooling on my BFG 8800gt OC2.
It was on sale at ncix.com for $25cdn so I just had to jump on it as I've been looking at the Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 for a while and this one came with two 80mm low profile fans and enough ramsinks to cover my memory and other hot spots with 3 sinks still leftover.

I ordered it around 12pm EST on Tuesday and it was shipped at 2:24pm and on the truck for delivery at 9:37am the next morning all the way from British Columbia to Ontario! You have to love purolator express shipping for the same price as ground.

I didn't have my camera or I would have taken pictures of the installation but I did do a few load and idle tests before I installed it and here are the results!

Ambient temp measured at sidepanel intake on my case ranged from 19.8c to 20.7c
All the Antec Tri-Cools in my case were on the low setting for all tests except for the 200mm bigboy which is quiet enough to run on high.

Stock 8800GT Cooler:
Idle - Started at 40% fan speed and waited 5 minutes between each fan setting.
40% - 61c
70% - 55c
100% - 52c

Load RTHDRIBL - 10 minutes
40% - stopped test at 100c
70% - jumped between 98-99c
100% - 88c

ATITOOL - 10 minutes
40% - stopped test at 100c
70% - 97c
100% - 91c

Coolink GFXChilla with Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound:
Idle - 38c
Load - 50c

50c Load to 38c idle with GFXChilla - 2m:10s
88c load to 52c idle at 100% fanspeed took 6m:33s

I did play a few hours of WoW at 1600x1200 with everything maxed and it was running at 41c the whole time(except for the character selection screen which hit 44c :p )

I'll get my camera back and take some pictures of it later today, and maybe a cameo shot of my new 2x2gb Gskill PQ DDR2-800 5-5-5-15 that came in my order too!

Pros so far: Cheap, Great cooling, very compact, quiet, included ramsinks and two 80mm low profile fans.

Not really a Con more of a hassle: The included Sekisui #5760 thermaltape was a little hard to get to bond well and I spent a good bit of time cleaning them with an eraser, 99% iso and a lint free cloth.

Note: A lot of the reviews used an older model that didnt have enough clearance on 8800 cards on the top two memory chips(even with the lowprofile sinks included) where the heatpipes leave the block. The one I recieved fit fine with no clearance issues.

Thats about all for now, thanks for reading!

Here are a couple of pictures of it installed.

One of the pictures shows you how much clearance you would have with a SLI or Crossfire setup although you would need a flexible cable to clear the heatpipes.

After using it for a couple of days I have to say I am very happy thus far! The ramsinks are on very solid now so I am feeling better about that after the little struggle I had installing them with the included thermal tape!

If anybody has any questions please feel free to post.
Matt
