No humidity is far worse than high humidity, and i speak from experience. Makes your throat and nostrils hurt like crazy.
the best solution is making sure that there's not air exchange in your case; that can be achieved by sealing all holes. there isn't enough water in the air that fits into your case to cause any serious problems from condensation, however if the case has air going through it; it has access to moisture from the air in all of your apartment/house.
Another thing you could do is electrically insulate the areas in the general vicinity of condensation; this is the smartest solution. Who cares about water if all your contacts are encased in an insulator?
