This isn't a overclocking machine, I doubt you could overclock a Slot 2 Pentium 3 Xeon. So I am up to suggestions to cool my currently working on mod box. All of these parts, I got really cheap, and my pocketbook isn't very deep. Here is what I have so far:
Intel SRKA4 Quad Pentium 3 Xeon Processor motherboard
4x Pentium 3 Xeon processors( 700mhz 2m cache)
512mb of Pc133 Ecc registered memory
Gigabit lan network card
ELSA Gloria XL video card
PATA addon controller
Belkin 54g wireless network pci card.
700watt redundant power assembly, it is the cabinet w/o the power modules
Case frame from a Proliant 5000 server
To make my motherboard fit, I had to tweak with this server frame to make it fit, Since I got only the frame, I have been building up a shell for this case. The Problem that I will have to face is the heat from the four processors. I am not sure if anyone makes water cooling blocks for these processors. On the mb, there is four connectors for 3-pin fans near the processor slots.
As of now, I am stumped of how I should cool this. To let you know, I am having to build my own parts for getting a shell on this mod. I have plexiglass and alumimum angle pieces to work with for a shell.
If anyone has any suggestions of how to cool this please let me know.
What exactly is Emachineshop, saw their site but not sure what to make of it?
