Cooling Question

So I have a Thermaltake Fanless103 (heatpipe + huge fins) heatsink on my AMD Athlon 64 3000+ which is mounted in a Cooler Master ATC-200 with 4 Vantec Stealth 80mm fans (1-back, 1-top, 2-front). I currently have the back and top venting and the fronts pulling in.

For better cooling, I'm assuming I should ditch the fanless heatsink and get a high-quality one with a fan, yes? My roommate (engineering student) didn't seem to think that it'd make much of a difference as the fans are pulling air directly across the heatfins providing the cooling. Thought I'd double-check with some actual experience.

Any help appreciated.

Well what temp are you running at? If you are running too hot, I'd get yourself a zalman (i'm a zalman fan). I have the 9500...it's a bit pricey, but very pretty. :) If you're not running too hot then I wouldn't worry about it.

well theres no point in gettin another cooler wen yours is currently getting the job done unless you want a higher overclock; i say juss rig a fan onto the heatsink, btw can we get some shots of it?
