Hi all,

Athlon X2 4600+ system, running a Scythe Mine cooler, all stock settings and speeds.

While running 3dMark06, I get a max CPU temp of 52-54C. However, it is quite warm outside curently, 82F, and my windows are open so I am assuming it is 82F inside my room if not slightly higher. Idle temp of this system is currently 38-41C.

Is this a good load temp based on the difference between ambient temp and CPU temp?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, thats fine.....if ambient is 82F, then thats low 30's C so for the processor to hit 52C wouldnt be too far a strach of the imagination. Also Case Airflow will help/hurt your situation, as will the cooling solution U decide to run on the CPU
