If I am NOT overclocking, and am going to be running a 3700 san diego, a8n sli deluxe, bfg 7800gtx and 2 gigs of xms corsair ram, will my rig be sufficiently cool with a Mid tower lian li aluminum case with 4 panaflo fans, about 2400rpm, an XP-90 with 92mm panaflo fan on my CPU and then the stock heatsink/fan on the GTX?

And will I still be cool enough when I toss another GTX in there later on?

Or do you guys think I should toss some other cooling stuff in there? If so, what?
 
dont worry about it so much if you arent planning on Ocing the stuff. Still good to keep it all cool, but not that big of a deal. I'm overclocking the shit outta my stuff, and the watercooling hasnt even arrived yet and im still on stock, so whatever you decide on should be fine. And im running 2 7800s also.
 
Ok cool, I just know my current comp got a lot of problems cause it overheats pretty bad. It is an older gateway, p4 2.4 and I threw a 256mb vid card in there and all of a sudden I would get shot down FPS after a few hours of gaming and such unless I turned it all off and let it cool down.

Then again it is a big steel hunk of shit with probably 2 fans at best (which I can't even hear). Everything stock from them as well, minus the card upgrade (had a ti 4200).
 
Yeah, four fans in a newer case should do just fine. May I recommend watercooling? If you dont mind the price tag (around 200 dollars) it can provide very very good temps, and at the same time be whisper quiet. If you dont want to do water though, I think you will be fine with either all stock cooling, or the xp90 like you said on the processor. I have heard good things about those new thermalrights.
 
Yah rather not spend 200 unless I REALLY had to :)

But I will find out in about 2 weeks weather I have to or not! What kind of temps should my comp be at to stay safe you think?

Hehe, grats on the first build. If you have any questions [H] is a great place to post them, or you could send me a pm and I would be glad to help out any way I can.

Seeing your getting a 7800 GTX, I'm not sure about whats too high of temps for it, but mine runs around 45-50*c idle, and a few degrees higher under load. But that is with two of them stacked up just feeding each other hot air. As far as processor temps go, anywhere from 30-47*C should be just fine. Some run hotter than others, but you should be ok if you arent getting any higher than 50*c on that.
