Intel 3.0C CPU
ATi 9800 Pro XT
Antec "Sonata" Case with 380Watt True PS
WD 120GB SATA 8mb cache drive
1 gig Corsair XMS PC3200 mem
SB Live Audigy 2 ZS gamer edition
Asus P4C-800 E Deluxe

This is my prospective system that i plan on building in about a month. Using that case in particular, could that give me any heating issues? Also, will that power supply suffice with what i am running. Another question i had is will i need a new 3.0C cpu fan and if so what is a good one to get?

***What is a good temp for the case and cpu***

thanks.

a good temp for the case and CPU is: ambient temp.

a realistic temp for the case and CPU is: < 10 degrees C above ambient temp.

a godly temp for the case and CPU is: well below freezing. (which sure as hell better be below ambient!)

if i were you, i'd get the Antec TruePower 430W system just to be sure.

err, i can't answer if you'd need a new 3.0C fan, is your old one broken? however, a good brand is Panaflo.

also, instead of the Sonata case i'd get a Lian-Li PC60 if you can afford it.

I was looking at the Lian Li case, but i just decided to go with antec because i couldnt find the Lian Li on any other site but excaliburpc's or something of that nature; a site that i do not really trust. Newegg doesnt sell it, zipzoomfly doesnt, so if you guys could give me some tips. I plan on OC'ing my 3.0 to no more than 3.3GHz so i am hoping the default cooling should be enough for that. 430W? Damn i didnt think the Radeod, board, and HD would draw that much.....
