Just remembered something totally unrelated from another thread.
My setup is housed in a HAF 932 case. 230mm fan Exhausting at top, 230mm intake in front of drive cage, 230 mm intake on side panel, 140mm exhaust on rear panel.
Zerotherm BTF90 orientated to push towards the 140mm on rear. Always use video cards with rear exhaust type cooler.
The oddity is my PSU. Corsair 750TX mounted in the bottom of the case. when mounted so the fan faces the grill on the bottom of the case the ambient temperature inside the system tends to read 2c to 3c degrees cooler than if I mount the PS"U upside down so the Fan exhausts inside the case.
While the air pulled across PSU would be a bit warmer, I would of though the additional Air flow would overall lead to a cooler temperature rather than higher.
Am I wrong in my logic or is this simply a case of optimally balancing overall airflow?
Not a big deal, just curious more than anything, either way the temps are good.
