Is there some software out there that I can use to manually make my cpu fan speed up to 90% max speed or whatever I tell it to? My laptop runs really hot and the gpu in turn gets really hot and makes my games into slide shows after 5 minutes until the gpu cools back down. Happens over and over. The CPU and GPU share this heatpipe cooling thing so I really need to be able to make the CPU fan speed up. It doesn't come close to max speed right now.

What are you sitting it on when this is happening? Might want to hit it up with some compressed air. If that still doesn't work might have to take it apart and put on some new thermal paste.

I take them apart and replace all the thermal pads (gpu, northbridge) with copper shims (sanded pennies)....worlds better
