I'm moving my Intel quad core Q9650 into a Silverstone GD-07B case. I wont be able to use my Noctua CPU cooler due to height issues....
So I am looking at buying the Scythe SCSK-1100 Shuriken Rev.B 3 as it used to be one of the best coolers and it WILL fit in the case I am getting. Here is my question, will it be able to keep the CPU cool?
I dont overclock, I just run the CPU stock, and I plan on replacing the Silverstone fans (and using the optional fans) with the 120mm Noctua P series fans I have so there will be 5 intake fans. I only run a passive 5450 so that shouldn't generate a bunch of heat...
Anyway thoughts appreciated on this.
