cooling for socket 478

Thermalright and Swiftech are two of the best heatsink manufacturers. AeroCool has a couple good products as well. The AeroCool HT-101 which uses 1-2 fans works real well.

If you're going to get the 92mm Tornado, don't forget to get a fan controller so you can tone it down when you're not oc'ing. You can get the Vantec Nexus for under 20 bucks and it'll handle the Tornado and all of the other fans in your case with no problems.

The SP-94 + Tornado is a fairly loud combination, but it's hard to beat if you want low temps... and with a fan controller, the Tornado gets quiet enough that you can sleep with it on.

Just don't ever ever ever get the 80mm Tornado, it is horrible.... I took it out of my case 2 days after I bought it. Even with a fan controller the high pitched whine is still there..... it's the worst fan I've ever used. Stick with the 92mm version.

I'd recommend the 92mm Delta HHE ( I use it on my HS) , but only one store carries it and it's out of stock right now.... it's an excellent fan though, 73 cfm at 42dB and it puts out as much pressure as the 80mm Tornado while being over 10dB quieter!

hmm, no reply back
i guess he's getting the thermalright and the tornado
