i have a saphire x1600pro that i decided was running a little warm. i bought this thermaltake schooner fanless vga cooler which seemed pretty good. first of all, it fit fine on the gpu, but it did not fit on the back side of the gpu, the screws werent lined up in order for the heatsink to fit on it. thats not the most important part to keep cooled thought either. after i got the whole cooler installed and back in the pc, after an hour of use, it runs 10c hotter than it did at stock. im just wondering if anybody else has come across the same issue with this product

It's a Thermaltake. It's fanless (poor design for fanless at that). It's normal.

It is quieter though, is it not?

well of course its quieter, but i was expecting a bit more out of this, actualy a lot more because it froze while i was playing battlefield 2 last night :(

Point a fan over the main heatsinks, get some air moving through them.

I dispise Thermaltake for the most part... an X1600 Pro shouldn't be hard to cool at all.
