Cooling 9800pro

I have a spare Crystal Orb lying around and was wondering if it would be more effective than the stock 9800pro cooler. What type of cooler would preferable for OCing the card? (other than stock/corb). Also, what kind of ramsinks/adheasives would be best for the card. Im thinking of doing some minor to moderate overclocking.

I also have one and really like it. The nice thing about the vga silencer is that fact that it blows the heat out of the case. I had no problems installing what so ever either, unlike some.

out of curiosity, are there any waterblocks for 9800pros that can be used both on the ram and gpu?

Another vote for the VGA silencer - it is cheap, easy to install, and very quiet. Obviously, the performance is also quite good.

Can you feel a good amount of air being exhausted from the case? If so, does the air feel warm? Did you notice a drop in case temps after installation?

Lastly, I haven't looked closely so I don't know what is needed to remove the stock heatsink from the GPU on a AIW 9800 pro. I forgot is it pinned on or is it permanently affixed?

the air coming out of the back of my case is fairly cool, i have 2 exhaust fans pushing it out.. the card i have is not the AIW version, just vanilla pro heatsink is held in with clips

Yes, the air is warm. You have to put a piece of tape to take care of the small gap to insure that all the hot air is blown out the case. Case temps are a little lower, but I really cant put a number on it.
