Coolest chip?

Which of the current All-In-Wonder chips is running coolest?

I seem to recall that the 9600 runs pretty cool, which I would assume means that the 9200 does.

I'm looking for an AIW card to run in a quiet HTPC. Mostly passive cooling, if not fully so.

of course the 96 will be cooler as its natively a smaller/Newer die size, hence smaller fan needed. Are all the 98's the new smaller die process ? GL

Isn't the 9200 just a lobotomized 9600?

all 9800 based cards are built on a .15u process.
as for the coolest running AIW, just get a 9600AIW, runs extremely cool and has decent preformance and DX9.
as for the 9200, its just a 9000 with 8X and has nothing to do with a 9600.

yes the 9600 is the only ati card... or the only non-x800 card that I know of with the amazing low-k technology which means that the materials in the core have less friction and as we all know friction causes heat.. this is why the 9600 OC's all to hell core wise.

At least that's what I read in the [H] reviews.
