I want to get this, but you see how is has the Coolermaster Logo on in the middle of it, well I don't know why it is there and if it can be taken off. I've seen numerous pics of the front bezels on people's PC and none of them had the ugly coolermaster logo in the middle of it. Here is a pic for example

SO if I buy it will it come with that logo? Anyone know, I'm confused because on many of the sites that sell it it shows the logo but I've seen a ton of cases that use the exact coolermaster front bezels but they don't have a logo in the center like that. Keep in mind this is for the silver ones only i don't care about the black ones.

It looks to me like there's 2 different revisions of that out there. I'd assume the one with the logo is the newer one, and the one with the "words" is the older one.

Who knows which one you'll get, and good luck finding out. Buying something like that from a smaller distributor would be a better choice, since you'll have more luck finding out which one will ship in your order. The larger places sell so many of them that they don't know which one will go with your order. Not bashing the larger places, but they don't have the "control" that the smaller places do with their orders.

As far as removing the logo: Good luck. I'd be willing to bet it's silk screened on, and any attempts to remove it will leave scratches all over the aluminum. Even a chemical of some sort will still leave a "shadow" of the original logo.

If you wanted to try your luck, since that is a brushed aluminum cover, you could try getting a dremel or drill with a wire wheel attachment, and going over the entire faceplate rubbing off the logo, and retaining the brushed look. If it were me, and I really really wanted that logo gone, that's how I'd do it.

It is exactly the other way around, (at least thats what they told me) with the logo is the older version, and, for your luck, I have two of them, just like you want it, NIB, never opened!!!, to sell :D :D :D
PM me if you are interested...

2 different revisions, hmm that makes sense I'll have to do somemore intensive research to find the one without the logo. Thanks for your help. If anyone knows where I could buy the older revision a link would be appreciated.

jrcairo just sold me 2 of em without the logo just like I wanted, provided a detailed pic and everything, still factory sealed, what are the odds of that, and he was going to put it up on ebay tomorrow. LoL talk about in the right place at the right time. Thx for the help I got anyway from you guys. :p

I think CoolerMaster removed the logo from the bezels when they realized how gay it looks. Especially if you get three or four of them! It would look horrible

The older ones have the logos on the door. You don't have to worry about it if you buy from FrozenCPU.

Mine has it on the black case that I have I just put a nice size case badge over it problem solved

Monster if you're going to paint it then you might as well not buy it and just paint your drive bezels. I think the whole purprose behind it is so that you DON'T have to paint and is a great match with the case. I doubt it would be easy to paint it and still keep that same look.
