Which one do you guys think is better? I like them both but the Cosmos is cheaper! Please state which one you like and why, also why it's better than the other one you chose! I'm looking to buy one of them and I need to choose! :D


I'm really easing towards the 832 because I love the look of it. Plus, the 4 fans on the side door would make for excellent cooling!
 
Must be the Cosmos.
I mean, everybody has a stacker these days, they are so common people use whatever things they can get ahold of to make theirs just a little bit different.
The cosmos otoh is fairly rare and quite sleek looking.
It all depends on what you like visually though.
Do you like big fridges, Klingon warships and radiator grilles from cars? Go with the Stacker.
Do you like Airstream trailers, Federation warships and railings?
Go for the Cosmos.
 
I really, really, don't like the cosmos. I find it hideous and want to smash it. If it had no handles on top, and a flat top rather than that curvy one, I'd consider it a great case. But it doesn't, so I don't.
 
The stacker is just classy. Cosmo is leaning more to the thermaltake crowd IMO.
 
Lol, thanks for the feedback, guys. You guys from [H]ard forum are easing towards the Stacker, yet the people from Overclock.net are easing towards the Cosmos :D
 
The Stacker is art. Its almost perfect in every way. I looove mine, best computer case I've ever used, I even prefer it over Lian-Li cases.

The Cosmos while cool, is just too... flashy, curvy, plasticy.

the reason that the cosmos is not common is because it has just been introduced not alot of people or OEM's are using it yet... i wouldnt use rare, i would say new release... u see alot of stacker now because they've been out for 1+ year now....i have a stacker and i love every bit of it although H2O on it is a bit of a challenge for someone like me...:p
 
The Cosmos has very nice features but is a Hideous looking case imo.
The Stacker is super sexy and well made, features are good.

I give the edge to the Stacker because it is a much better looking case.
 
Personally I prefer the Cosmos (I have one) over the 832. The 832 is too flashy for my tastes. I actually prefer (and own) the original Stacker (STC-T01) over the 832, but thats just my opinion.

And yes, the airflow could be better around the HD's, but it does rather well (and is far quieter) than my Stacker. Really it comes down to what is your tastes, I personally like the clean design of the Cosmos...then again I like the clean design of the Lian Li's also. ;)

Yes but you have to admit that the Stacker gets a lot better airflow, considering it has a fan near the hard drive bays, and a side door with 4 fans...

Oh, I know it does, even my STC-T01 does...I'm saying I don't really care for flashy cases, which I consider the 832 to be. Plus if I cared about having a ton of fans, I could always mod my Stacker or get the NZXT Zero :D

also for the last time i didnt buy it @ performance-pcs i just copy it from them, bought the parts over there and cut them myself, also plexi is not clear it is smoke acrylic....also pardon my camera phone shot...
 
I have the Cosmos and love it. But I was also considering the 832 as well. The deciding factor for me was the complete (well almost) sealed enclosure of the Cosmos. I had a Raidmax case that was wide open and the one thing I hated was having to clean the dust bunnies. And seeing how open the 832 was with it's mesh screen panels, that was the last thing I wanted to deal with especially with their crossflow attachment. The Cosmos has filters for the intakes located underneath the case and that was a plus. And by changing, relocating and adding fans, the Cosmos has awesome potential for cooling including the HDD area. Now I've tried dryer sheets, panty hose and many other items suggested here at [H] Forums for filter material but in the end, I opted for the Cosmos. Believe me, I would have gone for the 832 but I'm at the point where less maintenance will give me more time to spend doing other things...

As one of the posters in this thread mentioned, both cases are great... It's what you feel that is best for you that counts...

I'm still not too sure which one to get...I like the look of the Stackers more...but they're about $50 more expensive...:(
