I just bought a CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 case and have several questions regarding it.
I am planning on liquid cooling in the future, would the radiator fit underneath the black plastic on top or will it have to be installed in the back?
Which way do people have the optional HDD fan blowing, away from or towards the HDD?
As far as cable management, I put everything in and noticed that you can't really put any cables across the bars behind the motherboard that are too thick, what are peoples feelings or waays around this?
Any help with this would be grateful, as long as some additional insight with the case and what some people have done to their Cosmos 1000

Bumping like four threads about the Cosmos 1000 and then posting a completely new thread is silly.

A simple PM to someone you saw who had the same case or making a new thread (like this) would have sufficed.

I had the fan blow up, away from the hard drives, taking the hot air out.

Back fan intake, top two fans outtake, bottom fan intake, and the fan on top of hard drives (in optical area) bringing air from the hard drives up to the top of the case.

Buy some Yate Loon or Scythe fans and you're set.

For watercooling you should have searched and seen the couple of threads involving the Cosmos in the Worklog/Case Mod gallery. They put the rads behind the case and/or at the top of the case where the top fans were.

As for the wires, it was a bummer finding out I couldn't close the case with my CPU 8 pin psu cable going around from the bottom hole to the top hole because of that bar that is part of the keeping the sides on. So I just ran with an extension cable from the bottom to the corners, then through the holes by the right, then out again from the holes and to the left and on top to my CPU power connection.

Thanks, that actually helps a lot. I actually just purchased a bunch of Scythe fans for my case.
I posted a lot because no one actually gave any specifics as to if they had mounted the HDD fan. But thanks for that When I opened my case up to change the fan direction (originally i had it blowing across the HDD) i felt that the air from the fan just came right back through the fan and was blowing the opposite way that it was supposed to )if that makes sense to you).
Having the back fan on intake is an interesting approach. May I ask why you did this and did it make your system cooler?

I can see setting the top fans for exhaust and every other fan for intake. Heat rises and the 2 120's at the top would do a good job pulling it out.

The Cosmos was underengineered imo. Had one and was not very impressed at all, except the first time it came in and I was like, who ordered the fridge? I had the fan blowing down on the HDDs, seems like you pretty much need to have the fan on them or else they top the 50s. For the wires through the bar I managed to fit pretty much 1 cable per; you can't stack them on top of each other, just gotta hold them with one hand while you slam the side fast.

I've seen radiators installed at the bottom and at the top; not into LC so I can't help much there. MCPC has a Cosmos http://www.million-dollar-pc.com/sy.../cosmos-1000/coolermaster-cosmos-junkun13.htm
