CoolerMaster CM Stacker vs CM Stacker 810

I am looking for a new case to support an Extended ATX motherboard that I have.

I currently own an original CM Stacker that houses my server. While it's big - it holds everything in it, and has lots of room.

I was looking at the CM Stacker, and noticed there are several variations of it, including an CM Stacker 810.

I did a compare on CoolerMaster's website, but I can't find the differences between the CM Stacker and the CM Stacker. The one difference is the 810 weights 4.7kg less.

Anyone know the other differences?

I have the 810 so I can be of some help here. The 810 has room for only one power supply at the bottom and the back panel has 2 120mm exhaust fans. Also there is no cutout on the motherboard tray for the crossflow fan.

As far as I know everything else is the same to the first revision of the case.

The difference is probably the lack of a top hard drive cage. That thing is pretty bulky actually.

The only real difference on the 810 is the top PSU cage is removed, and replaced with another 120mm exhaust.

I prefer the Original, it's what I have, but that's just me. I like having a top or bottom, or both, choice.

I like the origional for liquid cooling and I like my PSU at the top, but it is nice to have a choice. I don't think the 810 supports BTX.

I think 810 for air cooling and origional for liquid.

Although either case would work well for either option.

yes, iirc the 810 has some more fixed parts and cannot be converted to BTX. But that´s about it.

However, I think I may just pick up the original CM Stacker.

Why does it matter if it's BTX?

Most motherboards aren't..

I like the 810 more because of the 2x120 in the back

my Stacker came with no 3-in1 hard drive module, i had to order it. i got ripped off.

but i also bought the crossflow fan (300mm).

The fan is loud at medium, so sometimes i keep it on low. But it keeps my entire motherboard cold.

Overall I like the case and dont plan to change anytime soon.
