As title suggests, what would be the best cooling?

I'm starting to think the Aquagate does no better job than a decent air cooler on fan 1, and it is way too loud on fan 2, but would the freezer be a good choice for an overclocked x2 3800? It's only a 400mhz overclock, but I've seen suggestions that it doesn't do that well with oc'd cpu's.

Also, is the CoolerMaster Aerogate 2 or 3 actually any good for getting accurate temps?

Any thoughts and/or experiences welcomed.

Those cheapo water-cooling kits aren't very good at all, but you know that now. The Freezer64 Pro should be able to handle a modest overclock, as long as you install it properly. Other alternatives would be the Thermalright SI-120 and the Thermaltake Big Typhoon.

im running the freezer 64 on an opteron 165. its not overclocked right now but i was running it at 2.5 (700 mhz overclock) and the max temp under load was 39C. That was with 1.45 volts also. it idled at 29C. it is a very good cooler, and it is SILENT. cant hear it at all. hope this helps

Thats what I wanted to hear :D

Cheers man!

peeps over at xtreme systems claim that the freezer 64 pro cools as well as the big typhoon w/ load temps while the big typhoon gets better idle temps
