It's been a while since I've built a legit box but I had the itch again and decided to build a mini-itx one around the BitFenix Prodigy and the Z87 itx asus rog mobo and a 4770k

I can't for the life of me seem to get the 240M to mount evenly on the board/chip and was wondering if others have had similar issues? Yes, I followed the instructions, they're kind of sparse in detail but I think I've done it right

I've screwed the spring loaded screws into the mobo using the provided bolts but still don't seem to get decent contact

Some ITX boards have chips on the back side that can interfere with the backplate. Have you checked for that?

i'll have to break it down and recheck, but I didn't think about them so no, I haven't.

Thanks for the tip, it seemed flush when I installed it but I could be wrong.
