Coolermaster 212 Turbo

After looking at it I don't like the design not that it looks bad it doesn't but you can't raise the fan for higher Ram heat spreaders.

There's so many better heatsinks for the money, especially with the 25% markup this gets for the color option.

why would you need to raise the ram height if the cooler doesn't block VRAM slot?. I have 2 backup fallback coolers, one of those it's an hyper 212 Evo which I have used lot of times the past and it never blocked aby RAM slot on the used machines even on mini-ATX boards, in fact that same cooler it's mounted in an asus h61 board cooling an i7 2600 on my parents machine with no issues with the ram modules and those are very tall (corsair vengeance)

If you mount it to exhaust upward out the top it will most likely block a ram slot. That’s how mine is.

My 212 EVO on my Ryzen Gigabyte Gaming K7 makes installing RAM in the first slot problematic. Luckily I am running only two sticks and it works fine in A2 and B2.

With my hyper 212 I have to use low profile ram and have to remove front fan to access 1st or 2nd memory slots.. also for the price of the new turbo totally not worth it... a cryorig H7 would be more quiet and cheaper and wouldn't bock ram slots... and would also be less wonky to mount.. a hyper 212 isn't hard to mount I have done it many times now..but the mounting method is wonky and kinda not the best... certainly.

the only reason I have my evo is because it was on sale for $19 ~ 4 years ago or whatever when I bought it.

hmm.. I wonder if CM would consider sell them top plates so that existing evo, plus... etc 212 owners could make their existing 212's less ugly???
