I've got a Beantech Igloo 10 case here. So far I've removed the front door, inverted the window. I have some carbon fibre en route for the top of the front bezel to make it Lian Li style, and I'll be filing down the drive framing tomorrow to make it more defined and add more contrast (you'll see). So far here's what it looks like, very plain, but I haven't even scratched the surface yet

My plan is to cut out the front fan holes and add in a grille like found on the Coolermaster 201:

Unfortunately the problem is I can't find this type of small-hole mesh anywhere! All I can find is this:

I also found this stuff which is very cool and can be painted any color, problem is that its also big-hole..

Can anyone help me on my quest to find this type of mesh? Preferably in chrome...it doesnt have to be made for computers or cars, just any object (aside from buying a 201 case that is :p) that I can slice up that uses this kind of mesh, I want it so bad!

I have the front panel from my ATC-200C that will be a spare part soon. If you want the whole panel I will send it to you for a few bucks + shipping.

Thanks dude, that would be awesome, I would forever be grateful :D I see its black mesh but that would be no problem, I can just paint it.

Any idea when you will be letting it go by? Thanks, you are a lifesaver :)

However I'd still like to see if this type of mesh exists...

check out www.mcmaster.com They should have a huge variety of perforated metals. I should have the panel available later in the week - my case is being overhauled at the local machine shop. If you want, I can probably get the paint bead blasted off of the mesh for you.

Thanks for the link, that site looks just excellent :D

However I will probably buy your front panel. Just shoot me an email justin AT fastlanehw DOT com when you got it ready, as I do not check my PMs here...

And good luck on your mod project, mine is on a much smaller scale, I am just jazzing up this case a little, adding more cooling, and adding design elements of the PC-65 and ATC-201B, my two favorite midtowers ever...no biggie...

On that McMaster site, can anyone point me at what material I'd be looking at that would be what I need?

I found perforated metal for pretty cheap but it seems too much like a window screen.

Have you thought about going to Home Depot and checking out steel or aluminum screen materials??

My home depot sucked for that kind of material. All they had were big sheets of metal with patterened holes in them for fireplace grates. The holes were spaced too far apart and were too large. It was not even mesh-looking. The guys there knew what I was looking for, they just didn't have it.

I was thinking more along the lines of the screening material used to make screens for your houses windows.
