ive got a quick couple of questions,
im trying to plan out a soon to be mod, and i need to know a few things first...

does the front fascia come apart, like the two rails on the side of the 5.25 drives?

how thick is the "bar" in the concave part of the front?

how tall is said bar?

how easily can the door be removed?

your help is much appreciated..

o, and is the blue wavemaster a dark blue like the pics on Newegg.com or is more of a lighter blue like seen here

thank you

I just got my blue wavermaster and all I have to say is WoW. It's georgeous :). Will post pics once I have it totally comleted and put together. Should be done in 5 days or so with it being completed with cathodes etc etc.

To answer your question (a part), from a current WaveMaster owner :

does the front fascia come apart, like the two rails on the side of the 5.25 drives?
I didn't look carefully on it but i guess it would be possible.

how thick is the "bar" in the concave part of the front?
It looks very thick, around 1/4" of a inch in the center and 3/16" on the edges (it is not flat).

how tall is said bar?
I didn't measure it but it looks like it is 6-7 inches tall.

how easily can the door be removed?
It is very easy. The door is held by the top plate with 4 hex screws. Just unscrew the top plate, remove the door and reput the top plate.

sorry for the long time between replys, but thank you very much for your help

here is what i plan on doing

0.0 What did you use to design that picture. Well anyway that looks really good. What are the blue rings on the front. Are they fan controllers, or just LEDs.

I have two wavermasters now, the black and silver (couldn't resist, had to have both, maybe ill get the blue too). Your plans for the front bar look really cool, however, a wavemaster without the front door will not look very good. You might wanna plan something else, I don't know I considered removing my door a couple times, it just doesnt look right at all IMO

of course there will be a great deal of making things up as i go along

Thats ugly... IMO you wiould have a hard time improving the front of the case, its already really slick the way it is...

agreed, but its not just about improving the looks of a case, its also about improving functionality (if thats a word)

and like i said, more will be done than just that...

I have the blue version which is the limited edition. It's freakin slick. Will post pics once I get some. ;)

just recieved mine today... and O - M - G IT IS SOOOOOO SEXY!!!
