The fellas at ocaholic have the Cooler Master HAF XB in house for a little review action today. Here's a description of the case from the review:

With the HAF XB, Cooler Master presents a case which features a refreshingly different form factor. If we had to define what this product exactly is, then we'd say that we're talking about something similar to a cube case but mixed with ideas from a test bench. The interior of the case is split in two different compartments where the motherboard goes in the top part and power supply as well as hard drives have to be installed in the bottom area.

"Refreshingly different" is a good way to put. It is cool to see a mainstream mfg. take on something a little different without being something goofy like a train-shaped case. This will probably spark some cool mods. Companion Cube anyone!?!?

I just got mine. I love that my MB is horizontal and so easy to access. It's a wonderful case, but I would still like it to be about 4 inches deeper and 3 inches taller with 2 more hot swap 3.5" bays. I'd pay an extra $40 for that.

Love mine, Years and years of tower cases have just gotten so old for me, despite all the "changes" makers do to make them stand out *cough, silverstone Raven*

Its awesome how easy it is to access and work on my case with the double levels and sectioned side panels. The case is so adaptable for so many different builds and ideas is like a case modders wet dream. And finally, after 11 years of PC building, a removable motherboard tray that is actually USEFUL.
