Have just recently built a new system based around the new Intel 2600k, and re-used my HAF-932 for the time being as it served me exceptionally well through my C2D days.

Specifications:

CPU: Intel 2600k
MB: ASUS P8P67 Pro
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws-XL
SSD: 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 Extended
GFX: ASUS ATI 6950
PSU: Corsair AX850

Note: As a side note, as it may affect what people suggest I OC to - I am using a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 in a push/pull setup.

I currently have all the fans on my HAF-932 as stock, and the direction of airflow as demonstrated below - excuse the AWFUL paint skills lol:

Note: The Blue arrow on the left is airflow from side fan, and black box is the Nocuta NH-U12P SE2 in Push/Pull

As I have plowed through about 300 threads on this so far I wanted to summarize my thoughts on how I should upgrade so I could get feedback/suggestions if it is the best course of action.

Upgrade:

1. Replace the side 230x30mm red LED fan (700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA) with 4xScythe 120mm S-FLEX 1900rpm Fan (1,900rpm, 75.0CFM, 35.0dBA).

2a. Replace the Top fan 230x30mm red LED fan (700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA) with the CoolerMaster MegaFlow 200x30mm (1,000 RPM, 142 CFM, 17 - 23 dBA).

3. Replace the Front fan 230x30mm red LED fan (700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA) with the CoolerMaster MegaFlow 200x30mm (1,000 RPM, 142 CFM, 17 - 23 dBA).

4. Replace the Rear exhaust fan - 140x25mm standard fan (1200 RPM, 60 CFM, 17 dBA) with a Scythe 120mm S-FLEX 1900rpm Fan (1,900rpm, 75.0CFM, 35.0dBA).

The other options I have are;

2b. Replace the Top fan 230x30mm red LED fan (700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA) with the CoolerMaster MegaFlow 200x30mm (1,000 RPM, 142 CFM, 17 - 23 dBA) BUT also add a Scythe 120mm S-FLEX 1900rpm Fan (1,900rpm, 75.0CFM, 35.0dBA).

2c. Replace the Top fan 230x30mm red LED fan (700 RPM, 110 CFM, 19 dBA) with 3xScythe 120mm S-FLEX 1900rpm Fan (1,900rpm, 75.0CFM, 35.0dBA). I heard that if one does that, one of the 120mm will be half over the Top 5.25" Drive Bay?

Also, I'm not sure if I should replace the Rear Exhaust fan with a 140mm or 120mm - thoughts here?

Would love to hear back for you - in regards to both the setup of fans, but also the BRAND choice.

Cheers,
VD
