Cooler Master HAF 932 Ideas

I just ordered my Cooler Master HAF 932 the other day along with a Cooler Master V8 HSF. Got a killer deal from NewEgg on them both.

I have had some ideas as far as light "mods" for it, including spraying it down in a Flat Black finish (like TJHarlow did on his Youtube vids) and get my good ol' look that the Antec 1200 rocked.

Going to add some dual-12" Red Cold Cathodes and that's simple of course - but I was also considering mounting some 12v SMD Flexible LED's in parts of the case with yellow-colored Lexan in front of them (trying to get a few different color effects on the inside - and yellow is a color I never have seen in a computer case. And where the Yellow/Red blend, it should make for a nice looking orange to match my Foxconn A7DA-S 3.0 well)

And also, would I benefit any from replacing the door/top panel 230mm fans with 4x and/or 2x 120mm fans? If I replace both the door and the top panel 230mm fans and do in fact buy 6x 120mm fans to replace them, what fans should I be looking at?

Just wanting some inputs - never been big into case modding but I figure at the deal I got I'm going to give it a shot - plus, this is a sexy case when it's painted black! Thanks in advance!

Well it looks great! I like your cable mgmt, and I also like what you've done with the HDD cage - I think I'd go for a blood red on something like that.

Very nice, thanks for the picture!

That looks fun but I'm just not into Modding. Just got my Haf 922 yesterday and was looking for something cool to do to it. It's going to be my Christmas project.

Mine is on the way as well. I plan on blacking out the inside too. Probably going to replace the red LEDs in the fan with green. All my interior parts are black and green so it should look pretty nice.

I like that idea Gigantro - that's why I'm trying to go with Orange lighting (my Foxconn board would look good with it).

Heck, I didn't even think of it but I too could order some 5mm orange LED's in Bulk and get my orange light from that - then with the red cold cathodes that'd be a nice little touch of color as well.

Now I just need to make a final decision on what all colors I want... =D

I'm going to post photos of all that I do with my case - day by day. I've already got my Riveting tool and Rivets for disassembly/reassembly so it shouldn't take too pain-stakingly long to complete at least the painting

Well now I think I've changed my mind some..

I think I'm going to do slightly what you've done, FranklyShankly and paint the majority of the case black while I have the HDD Cage colored Blue (I'm a huge fan of the Colts, after all)

I'll have to think of some way to do a play with Blue LED's instead - will probably toss in some UV led's as well to light up the yellow slots on my mobo.

Anybody have input as far as the cooling aspect goes? I see buying 120mm Case Fans isn't exactly as cheap as I remember it in the past, but some pretty nice looking fans out there like the Cooler Master R4's

Man I wish the inside was factory black, Case would be 10 times better even though I never look inside mine

I replaced all the fans except the top 230MM red LED fan (blows out) with a bunch of 120MM fans, Bit louder but cant even hear it with headphones on...The stock fans just weren't cooling enough for me, My old video card actually ran hotter with the stock fans (got rid of it before putting the 6 120mm's in)
