Well, I got my cooler mater RC-690 case today. When I took it out of the box I was really surprised at how simple and solid it looks. The case it self is awsome but some parts of the case had to be moded for some of the stuff like my PSU to fit in. There are spaces for 7 case fans 5 of which I have in right now are 120mm. For some reason CM put a case fan slot right behind the Motherboard tray but you cant actually fit a fan in there because of size restrictions. Iastly I cant use the last slot because of my Acelero S1 hits it and I cant close it other wise. All and all the case dropped everyone of my temps at least 10c and for the $15 I got it for this case gets a 9/10 score from me.
Pros: Big
, very spacious, lots of case fans, cool, solid, and quite cheap. Tool less design.
Cons: 2 out of 7 case fans slots were unusable, had to remove a little bracket to get my Power supply to fit, cant complain but its a little bit heavy cant recommend this case as a lan case.
So heres my question for all of you who have one what did you think of it and how easy was it to get your stuff in there? For me I took a long 4 hrs of modding and cable management to get everything in there.
I will post pics later when I can.
