The Megahalems is one of the best heatsinks available. It would do a great job of cooling your CPU. And yes, you will need another fan. The one that comes with the CPU is not meant to be removed from the heatsink and is also not the proper type of fan for mounting to a heatsink like the Megahalems.
Hello, for my new build, i am buying an i7 930. Do you think i would be ok with the Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.2 CPU Cooler? Should i also buy an extra fan, or i would be fine with the one in the box of the 930? I am kinda noob

i have an i7 920 O/Ced to 4 ghz with a cooler master V8 and it runs at 40 C, maybe 55 C at full load
If you don't intend to overclock past about 3.6Ghz, then stock cooling (and close to stock volts) may be fine provided adequate case ventilation.
If you intend to overclock, then:
"Normal" performance heatsinks: Cogage True Spirit ($35-$38), Thermolab Baram ($33-$38)... I've also seen the Scythe Ninja 2 rev. B for about the same price (under $35).
BIG Higher-performance heatsinks: Thermalright venomous-X ($55-$65), Prolimatech Megahalems B.
Top Tier Dual-Tower enthusiast heatsinks: Cogage Arrow ($58-$60), Noctua NH-D14 ($70-$75, but comes with 2 Noctua fans - however those fans are outperformed (even with respect to noise) by cheap yate loon fans)
My favorite fan choices for heatsinks based on performance/noise:
Cheap: Yate Loon D12SL-12 from Petra's Tech Shop (They have real Yates)
Expensive: Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-15 1850rpm (koolertek had some deals recently)
Obviously the Yates are the better deal, but the Scythe GT's do perform slightly better. I'd put all of my fans on a voltage-regulating, non-PWM fan controller - I keep my Scythe GT's at 9-10v, which seems to be the sweetspot.
Honorable mention: Zalman ZM-F3 ($5-$8)
Places to buy (and check prices): [I've had positive experiences with all of these places, however I know some people don't like performance-pcs].

+1 for the Corsair H50. Keeps my 930 in the low 30's, even on hot summer days.
If you wanted the Zalman ZM-F3: http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?p=CA...4f970d035d1164f24c86b4c73efc9461ac28b70afe368 - ewiz has it for $5.08. Some tests show it outperforming the Yates through a radiator.
Note that the ZM-F3 and Yates will suffer reduced life when positioned horizontally due to the sleeve bearing.
Corsair H50 will work fine. It's compact, and performance is probably about as good as that of the "normal" performance heatsinks (but definitely a notch below the Ven-X and Mega).
Here are some more easily digested fan tests:

The D12SL-12 LED is somehow outperforming the slightly higher RPM non-LED version, so perhaps the measurements aren't fully accurate, but they confirm a trend). - he also seems to like the Coolermaster Blademaster and R4 fans.
