Hey guys! i was looking if i could get some advise on picking out a decent cooler preferably around $50. i dont want to spend to much as i want to try out building a full on water cooled system sometime this year.

thanks in advance!

Nice! I've always seen the hyper + in neweggs top purchases but wasn't really sure about.
I've never seen the thermaltake either.

I'm guessing that these only come with the 1 fan? If so should I pick another up?

Thanks!

What are you planning to do with your processor? If you are just wanting a mid-oc until you go water then 1 fan should be fine for now. It is also highly dependent on your case cooling. Minimal air flow will suffocate the HSF and cause higher temps.

well right now i have an antec 900 v2, but this week i will be ordering a rv02 or the ft02 (if i can justify spending the extra cash).
i only want to get 4.2->.5 so it shouldnt be that harsh on the temps. i think i might be able to do it with the stock cooler but i dont want to chance it.

are they usually about $40?

also what are your guys thoughts on those self pump WC systems?
i saw the antec one for like $50

Hyper 212+ Took my cpu to 4.6 1.465 V-ID. at 25 dollars you can start saving your money with the money you save from other coolers. no need to try and get best possible temps if your serious about going water.
