are the Pentosin G11 and Longlife red coolants from petrastechshop.com anti-algae?

thanks

Uh I beg to differ guys, the pentosin is a corrosion inhibitor, if you want a biocide, you also have to add the PT Nuke. Check it out at Petra's

But pentosin is basically antifreeze, so it is a biocide... right?
Says so on the bottle. "Pentosin G11 Antifreeze - Blue - POISONOUS! Contains Ethylene Glycol."

Not necessarily so, in the small quantities that it's used (<5%) you can still get algae growth. If you really want to be sure, use the PT Nuke.

zerex does the job just as well imo. never any algae growth even after a year+ without changing the fluid in the loop.
