Ok so i got a syringe of CooLaboratory "paste" applied it as directed mixed with how others directed.....so much for it being UBER AMAZING COOLING.....my GPU's and CPU is running hotter than what they were with the stock coolers....and this is with a MCP655 pump, 120x2 rad, single 120 rad and Feaser 1 coolant in 1/2" id lines...

am i not doing something correctly? i've checked and everythings properly seated, the paste is covering what needs to be covered and all the fans are running like they should. any insight?

My first guess would be that you applied too much paste. You want to apply as little as possible, but enough to create a good interface.

well now im not sure, is Realtemp better for temps or is Everest? i know its better than a few other programs but never heard anything against Everest....Everest says my temps are around double what RealTemp is telling me(which is sticking heavily around 30C)

and for shiz and giggles i ran Prime95 on my stock clocked quad and the highest it got was 40C, but mainly stayed around 34C and idles between 27-30C. these numbers any good?

Is there any programs out there for measuring the temps of the GPU's like Realtemp does for CPUs?

Try GPU-Z -> Sensors, should be a GPU temp and a PCB temp. Since I run a single card I can't verify, but it should be able to give you the readings from either card.

link.

EVGAs Precision should do it too (minus the PCB temps), and RivaTuner as well (it has a monitoring function) since the EVGA utility from what I understand borrows code from it (ie: the RT author helped EVGA out).

Oh, and what does CoreTemp say, have you tried it? And on RealTemp, did you set it up properly? IIRC on initial setup you need to calibrate it, IOW run some test scenario from IDLE to make sure the sensors are working and whatnot. If you didn't do it right and did the first run @ more than IDLE, you're skewing the readings.

ill try GPU-Z and Coretemp when i get home, i've been reading around and seen a lot about RealTemp. ill have to look through the RealTemp readme or something because i was unaware it needed calibration.
