Cool Custom Computer Cases

It is called the intarwebs, where you can see pictures and stuff :p

well, I was a little more focused on the fact that I spent ten minutes looking at these things and couldn't figure out what the hell was going on with any of them.

Talk about coincidence. A few days ago, I was wondering what happened to the Rotten Apple. Glad to see you didn't forget about it!

Those are also some really nice concepts. I'd love to see them fleshed out a bit more.

BTW I believe it when I see it. He only finished the apple one which is already an existing case. If he can fit components into those abstract cases it would be pretty impressive.

You guys have to check out some of the computer designs this guy has come up with. The first one he did actually looks like the Rotten Apple from back in 2002, doesn't it?

Ok. I looked.

The Zombie does in fact look like the rotten apple. But when you take that case, and mod it without any major changes to it, they ARE going to look a lot alike.

The rest...well.........first off, the balsa mock-ups have nothing for scale in the pictures, so for all I know, they could be 1/4 scale 6 inch models. They aren't even semi-workable prototypes, they more resemble one of those balsa dinosaur model kits. The Manta-ray, and hammer head look like there are structural support pieces that hold parts for the visual design aspect of them, but wouldn't be do-able when trying to put components inside. If I was going to prototype, I'd at least be closer to what I wanted for a final design.
I just don't like the designs anyway. Maybe I'm not thinking "outside the case" so to speak, but I know what I like, and those aren't it.

The Evolver isn't bad though.

Those aren't PC cases. They are origami.

QFT!

Who would really want a case like those? The hipsters already have all their apple machines, if it isn't a half eaten fruit then they don't want it. (that is ignoring the G5 with the replaced side)
