Am I the last remaining PC editor out there for video or are some of you others here Video editors as well.

Check out my sweet system and a cool promo at the bottom that I just made on it for a web series.

Here's the slideshow of the case (wait till 9 slides in)

I've built a few video editing systems for TV studios, but I no longer do it. I don't have any pictures, but some of the setups were pretty kickass. Most of the ones I did were dual socket AMD Opteron's with dual monitor setups. They were used in multi-camera live studio capture with digital ENG editing from Canon XL2 cameras. About 90% of the setups I did, we used Canopus EDIUS Pro. Best edit software IMO.

Wow...that's a lot of blue....personally, I don't know how you sleep at night...lol.

I have those same speakers, but mine are Powered.

Matrox Card needs a server case (or one that allows a full length PCIe card to fit)

hehe, i still do a little video editing, mostly audio editing really

those Alesis speakers are nice, i owned a pair of the unpowered ones like you got, but replaced them with KRK monitors and been very happy with them... dont do as much editing anymore so they are now part of my HT setup and i use some of those BB insignias for my computer lol

and this should probably be in the gallery so i moved it for you

I've got those Alesis speakers too. The powered version. Damn nice speakers for the money.

I stopped using PC's to edit when Premiere started to really change up the interface. I use Final Cut now. And I have to say I'm much happier with it and editing on a Mac in general.

heh, the studios I did work for did just the opposite. :p They all switched from Final Cut Pro to EDIUS.

Thats a pretty nice case. I'd like to make a plexi case, but i dont really have the time, nor money. I like the blue!

BTW, i edit video too. You're not alone!!

I also edit. Although I mostly do motiongraphics work.

I must say those RT-X2 cards are a godsend!

Here's my current, temporary, setup. I'll be moving back into my studio next January.
