Hey guys, Right now I have a 500gb hd but im going to be setting up a RAID with 2 36gb raptors. What would be the easiest way to do this? Start from scratch and reinstall windows? or can I "ghost" my 500gb stuff over to the new 72gb harddrive? (im not using more than 72gb atm), Also im planning on a RAID-0 configuration for performance.

Clean install is the only way to go....then just use the 500 for storage.

Install your raid drivers first then image the drive, when you try to restore the image ghost, acronis, and drive image pro will normally promt you to resize the source partition if the source and destination partitions are not identical in size, follow the promts and you should be fine.. Not sure about other disk imaging software..
As always backup anything important prior to messing with drive configurations.. Clean install is fine too, but not usually necessary...
