Hi all,
I did search on this forum, and the web, to see if anyone had done it but couldn't find any info :(

I was just wondering if anyone new how to convert the raid 0 (2 drive) on my Asus p6t deluxe v2 to a raid 5 (3 drive), as i've just bought another WD 500gb RE3 drive. I know that you set up raid 5 with 3 drives, as shown here , however i'm not sure I can convert it.

Thanks
Satpal

It may have been a quick reply but it was not very accurate. This is very easy on the ICH10R. Just go into Intel Matrix Storage Console and right click on the Raid 0 volume and click Modify Volume. One of the choices will be to switch to Raid 5. Then choose the drive to add to the volume and let it migrate(which can take a long time.)

Backing up your data is still a good idea though.
