Just thought I'd ask if anyone is currently using an active mini display to dual link dvi adapter for their 2560x1440 + monitors, and which one they would recommend.

I have been leaning towards an accell one, but there is also the option of an apple adapter and a startech one.

I recommend staying the hell away from the apple adapters. I use 3 of them for my 3x30" setup. I had to get 2 of them replaced when I bought them. then later down the line, one started blinking like hell and had to buy another. I'm getting artifacts again on one of my screens from this adapter. STAY AWAY. They are terrible.

Good to know, I actually just back ordered 2 accell adapters, so we'll see how they turn out.

I'd run the monitors on a 6950 or even a 5870 Eyefinity 6... how about 6990 or 5770 Eyefinity 5 from XFX?
Well, I just finished building my rig, and these new monitors (3x Hazro IPS 2560x1440 27") were the finishing touch, or so I thought.

I've already had dual reference xfx 6950's in crossfire for a while now, and unfortunately, without a mini display port on these monitors, I have to use these adapters to get my resolution proper.

Sucks having 2 brand new monitors sitting on my desk turned off :/

Anyways, I'll post an update with some screens when I get everything hooked up.

If it turns out that these adapters distort the image, or produce artifacts, I'll just sell them, and my cards on ebay, and pick up a 6990.
