Is it possible to convert a coax cable input into basically anything else? Component/DVI/HDMI, whatever. Thanks!

You might be better off listing the devices you are trying to connect together.

Are you trying to input a cable TV coax line into a monitor or?

Get a STB (set top box) with ATSC/QAM tuner with VGA/DVI/HDMI out.

Unfortunately a simple adapter won't work, you'll need an HD tuner box inbetween. Let me guess, that's the Westingouse LVM monitor with no built-in tuner right? If your Westy had a built-in tuner then you would see a coax connector input on the back of your TV.

Here's a forum that discusses OTA HD boxes and antennas, check the sticky thread for some better OTA HD boxes, then cut and paste the model numbers into Ebay search, sometimes you find them pretty cheap (Between $30 ~ $200 shipped).

Here's an oldie but goodie (component only, no hdmi): http://cgi.ebay.com/HISENSE-HDTV-RECEIVER-DB2010-w-remote-instruction_W0QQitemZ170468611103

Or you can pick up a PCI, USB or network HD tuner: http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1035444126&postcount=3

Is that an outdoor/roof type antenna you have? If so then this pre-amplifer will make it much stronger (mega hot deal on that pre-amp btw). Or if you want a better indoor antenna then this one will blow any indoor antenna away.

I was looking these up just the other day btw :)
