So heres my scenario. I have a client (public safety for a town) who we've installed surveillance throughout. Some have seen the photos. Anyway they have something like 28 computers installed with 30 monitors. We have one mouse/keyboard setup and up until recenty we've been using a program called Synergy to control all the pc's. It basically installs and runs on one pc that our mouse/keyboard are hooked up to and then it runs client software on each machine that lets us control the mouse across the entire place.

Now its worked fine with a few quirks (like if we PCA into the machine, we can't really control it since it kinda acts up, not a big deal as its a pc we don't need to do much with except reboot once in a while).

But now the situation we have: The client wants to restrict the employees from using some of the monitors now. Its a surveillance system and they are really only supposed to watch some monitors, so they only want access on say 4-5 of those monitors. But we still need to be able to be on site and control all the pc's

Anybody know of something, that will let me do something like user privilages... where 1 user whos logged in only has access to control 4-5 pc's but if i login as say an ADMIN im able to control the rest?

Anybody know of anything like that?
