I have an LCD from a laptop at my house and I was wondering if I could get a controller to use it as a VGA monitor. The product number is LQ121S1LH02 Rev.A If anyone has an idea where to get a controller/PSU for this I would be most appreciative.

Here's the deal... at one point I had 4 overstock Sharp LCDs from laptops at my house. I spent 9 months trying to find a way to efficiently use any or all of them on PCs or even as TV displays. The power and control boards are proprietary, not standard VGA stuff, so you'd have to go through somebody like EarthLCD to get a controller board and cable. A couple of years ago these were running 200 to 400 dollars, and only had ISA or 2meg PCI video chipsets available.

In other words, it is cheaper to pay $150 for a low-end 14 or 15-inch LCD on eBay or clearance than to try to work something together for a laptop display.
