Is there a way to eliminate the static I get when I turn the volume up or down on my Z-2200's? It's only in one channel of the system.

I read alot about other's having the same problems but have yet to find a solution.

Anyone hear have any idea's?
 
The potentiometer that you turn when turning that knob is going bad. Replace the unit or replace the pot one probably voids any warranty but youll have a better pot than the cheap on e they gave you.
 
Where would I find a replacement? And if the pot was going bad wouldn't both channel's go at the same time?
 
Are you getting static as you turn it up or once it is turned up you get constant static? In this case it's probably not something wrong with the pot but something wrong with the wiring of the speaker maybe a possible grounding issue.
