My 3y old Maxtor 6L300S0 is continously doing stuff. I tried stopping all background pgms, file indexing off, SMART shows all ok, av/spybot scan, but still it flashes about once per second, CONTINUALLY. It happens even before XP really starts--sitting at the login screen it's still working away. What is it, or is it just dying...
