So I'm working on a loop rebuild to fix a stupidity of mine (alum rad..) and with the addition of a new/used rad, a cleaned but still unperfect batch of blocks, and a rez that was impossible to thoroughly clean, I wanted to let the system run filtered as part of the leak testing phase. We'll I've used these fuel filters for a fuel injected Cannondale dirtbike for years and they've held up like champs. Now that I'm done with the testing phase, I'm tempted to leave it in permanently.
Here's a quick shot of the filter just throwin in the loop.
It's paper based and filters extremely well. Don't judge the orientatoin as if it does end up staying, I'll redo the location to be more functional and easy to change.
What do ya'll think? Yank it or keep it?
And no the wiring is far from done. As you can see, not even the Vid Cards are powered yet.
Shot of a spare filter, same type.
I've tested these upto 50psi in short bursts so not worried about the pressure causing critical failures.
