hi all...
i came back to my computer a lil over an hour ago, after going to the mall, and apparently the power went out in my house due to a thunderstorm that occurred while i was out. my computer was off, so i turned it back on (it had been turned off because of the power outage in my house, no backup power source
) but it wouldn't boot into windows, just froze, so i rebooted. then i was able to get into windows for about 5 seconds, and i get a blue screen of death, somethin about memory unloading or somethin, i didn't write it down (stupid me)....but now i try to turn it on, and all i get is constant rebooting while at the windows loading screen. so it just goes in a loop now, rebooting...
could the power outage have fried something of my hardware? i don't think windows got corrupted, cuz i stil get to windows loading screen, but i just don't know how to isolate the hardware to see what's the problem. any ideas?
