Constant Crashing... PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

Hey guys, I have had a bad problem with my system crashing while playing Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield Vietnam... Sometimes it just crashes to the desktop, but other times it goes to a blue screen of death that says something about a PFN_LIST_CORRUPT error... I don't know what to do to fix this problem, I have reformatted, done just about everything I can think of and it still does it! Thanks for your time and help! :)

thanks for the links i will read up and see what i can do... if it keeps happening ill be back tho :)

EDIT: It asks me to run diagnostic hardware tests that are provided by my computer manufacturer... Well, I built my own computer so what do I use to do that?
