I was wondering if there was a cable out there which could plug into the video card (or monitor) so you can play consoles on a PC.

Monitor: Sony SDM-HS94P
VGA: Leadtek 6800GT

Get a TV Tuner or VGA Box. VGA Box is more expensive (than the cheaper cards), but it provides the best image quality and your computer doesn't have to be on.

Ahh, but you have to worry about interlacing with older games, or newer games that dont support the HDTV standard. I ran into this problem a while back, ended up ordering a Leadtek TV tuner. Works great.

What I don't like about TV Tuners is the fact that some of them do not support framerates over 30FPS! I just played DOAU on my TV Tuner and it was running at a pretty sluggish 30FPS; the IQ wasn't terrible, but I don't like the idea of losing frames.
